They say it can’t be done, but here we are, California is generated 106% of California’s entire state electricity demand from renewables.

California has a population bigger that 154 other countries around the world. It’s the 4th largest economy, in the world.

Let that sink in.

“Solar panels are fragile and dont hold up!” 😤

ME: they’re literally the greatest of all time (G.O.A.T.!)

Imagine hating these not because they provide almost free energy but because they dont fit with your Fox News propoganda.

Oil and gas hacks hate to admit that many oil derricks often rely on solar panels to pump oil…

That fact always makes their morning coffee taste bitter 😂

The irony of strict fresh water conservation requirements on home owners while a single large AI data center can use upwards of 11 million gallons of potable water.

Priorities are all messed up: hydrating the machines over humans.

“Well yes, they use meth, but for the first time they use less meth, let’s give them a round of applause for eating a record amount of carrots too.”

We’re so afraid of immigrants taking US jobs but AI could eliminate ~100 million US jobs in the next 10 years (per Senate report) — the real enemy is the data centers, tech bros and billionaires that are driving our future into an AI hellscape.
February 5, 2026 at 5:44 PM
Today, in the hellscape of California, the entire state is running almost 90% of the grid from clean energy, 78% of which is from renewables alone.

California has 39 million people, 4 million businesses, 1.2 million EVs — that’s bigger than most countries.

It can be done and is being done!

New record! Wind power reached a new monthly generation record in Britain this January (10.6 TWh)!

As a result of record wind power, gas generation was down a whooping 17%.

Yet I keep hearing about how wind turbines are a scam from orange clowns…
February 4, 2026 at 7:36 PM
When it’s EVs:
“The grid will collapse from EV electricity demand!!”

When it’s data centers:
“We need to build nuclear plants and gas fired plants to meet demand!”
February 4, 2026 at 5:16 PM
These two headlines today capture the shitshow this administration is:

The federal govt finally supports a renewables project, but it is on sacred native Amercian tribal lands.

And Trump exempted new experimental nuclear reactors from environmental review.

You cant make this shit up.
February 3, 2026 at 5:40 PM
Turns out when you ban bad shit from being used, it — wait for it — is better for everyone.
February 3, 2026 at 4:34 PM
Fielding hater comments about how solar panels dont last, meanwhile this array in Switzerland has been grid tied and working flawlessly since 1982…

For the “maths” disinclined: that’s a long damn time.
February 2, 2026 at 5:29 PM
Oh boy, we’re getting close to being able to have renewables around clock due to falling battery prices.

I bet there’s a lot of heartburn in BigOil executive offices having seen this!
February 1, 2026 at 10:59 PM
Something feels off sipping a drink threw a paper straw while reading about how fossil fuel companies enjoyed “enforcement discretion” allowing them to dump 1.6 million pounds of pollutants into the air over the course of 3-4 days recently.

But, they want you to believe YOU are the problem…

No one invades another country because they have abundant sunshine.

Countries get invaded, embargoed
and regime-changed because they have oil.
January 31, 2026 at 4:40 AM
Every unit of sunshine that hits earth is precisely $0.

It’s literally insane that we know that fact and allow a profiteering scheme to tell us that’s not good enough and charge us for an alternative that literally kills us.
January 31, 2026 at 12:37 AM
Stop saying “we need to enable to the next generation” to save the world. It’s your, mine, OUR responsibility.

Kicking the challenge to the next generation is how we got here in the first place.
January 30, 2026 at 5:05 PM
Solar power hasnt seen a rate increase for 4,500,000,000 years.

Wish I could say the same for natural gas and oil…
January 30, 2026 at 12:23 AM
Just absolutely shocked I tell you…

He crashed the oil market in his first term, and has demonstrated almost zero knowledge of energy matters.

The oil industry supported him because he would do more damage to the renewables industry and the oil industry.

As freezing temps and power outages near again, a PSA: if you have a wood stove, you can get these fans that require NO electricity to help circulate heat in your home!

These are affordable as well!
January 28, 2026 at 7:32 PM
Building energy resilence into your household is becoming a “must”, not “should”.

Be it wildfires, ice storms, hurricanes, tornados, hear waves, the grid being overwhelmed by demand, cyberattacks…

Having a battery energy storage & a few small solar panels is wise.

Super excited to be growing my own mushrooms! Just got about 1,000 plugs of various varieties from North Spore and I’m pluging my maple logs freshly cut today.

Hope to have fantastic #mushrooms for many years to come!

Fantastic news! For the first time ever, wind and solar combined output more elecrricity than fossil fuels in Europe!
