They say it can’t be done, but here we are, California is generated 106% of California’s entire state electricity demand from renewables.

California has a population bigger that 154 other countries around the world. It’s the 4th largest economy, in the world.

Let that sink in.

This photo isn’t shared to highlight that wind turbines can provide animals much needed shade.

This photo is shared to highlight the importance of trees.

Venezuela has ~303 billion barrels of crude oil reserves, and at today’s prices — $57/barrel — that’s a market value of $17.27 TRILLION dolllars.

Biggest heist in world history.

If Venezuela had the largest amount of solar panels installed opposed to largest proven oil reserves, Venezuela would still have a President right now.

Solar panels last longer than the roof their installed on. Yall trippn’ on the solar panels when you should be complaining about why roofs dont last longer and cant be recycled.

All I want for Christmas is for every BigOil CEO to have to read outloud each name of the 5 million people their products have unalived this year.

The North America’s largest wildlife corridor over a freeway has been completed!

Elk, pronghorn, mule deer, black bears, mountain lions and a variety of other species are now able to cross the I-25 Greenland wildlife overpass, in Colorado.

We’re supposedly building “super intelligence” while concurrently boiling ourselves with CO2.

“Super intelligence” in this context is simply “not moronic”.

Levees breaking, cell service whiped out, loss of power, tons of flooding, and we have 3 more days of substantial rain from yet another atmospheric river inbound.

It’s a serious scene here in Washington.

Cant wait to use my pretend $2,000 tariff check to buy that nonexistent $2.00 gallon of gas I kept hearing about.

This is trickle down economics:

Amazon makes billions and receives massive tax breaks from the Big Bullshit Bill then turns around and lays off 30,000 employees.

More uncomfortable facts left out of the TV series, Landman:

The fossil fuels industry is the largest subsidies reciepient in human history.

(Ironic given anti-renewables people love to clamor about renewables subsidies 🤦‍♂️)

Uncomfortable facts left out of the movie Landman:

The oil industry uses solar to power their oil fields, and it’s cheaper 😏

What a great story: offshore wind turbines are being used for their biodiversity addition by growing seaweed on lines between turbines.

While the wind turbines generate clean energy, seaweed grows & helps regenerate the surrounding marine environment, while absorbing CO2 & excess nutrients.

The amount of places we can put solar exceeds total world energy demand by many times over.

To power the US (since we have those numbers) we'd need to cover 0.6% of the US with solar panels. (The US is big)

But 2% of the US is just *pavement*
1.2% reservoirs
1% buildings
etc

If you are someone that opposes renewables because you disagree with climate change, you’ve missed the main point:

Renewables are stand-alone better, cleaner or more sustainable way to power our homes, vehicles, businesses, supply chains.

It’s not political to not want cancer & premature deaths.

If “clean coal” is so clean as Trump claims it is, why not have Trump site his golf courses and hotels right next to them? 😏

23 million US federal acres are under oil & gas lease for potential drilling, with ~12.4 million acres actively producing.

So, no, I dont want to hear anything about land use for solar energy, which can also use rooftops, car ports, closed landfills, balconies, or even covering water canals.

It’s been 100+ years since the salmon have run up the Klamath River as they are now, due to the largest dam-removal project in U.S. history.

If we just quit beating #nature down, it will show us how resilent it is and return to producing the abundance & beauty inherent in it…

Solar glass development is progressing: researchers achieved new solar windows with an optical efficiency of 18.1%.

The glass is coated with cholesteric liquid crystal, which opens up the ability to apply the technology to normal windows, which is big!
