Meanwhile Iowa Republicans removed HPV & the HPV vaccine from the mandatory sex ed curriculum in 2023.
It's not clear how many Iowa school districts have removed that material from their middle school and high school sex ed classes, but probably thousands of kids are not learning about this option.
