The Odesa region and southern Ukraine were hit especially hard. This is an unprecedented number of air targets in a single week.

The terrorist state must pay for its bloody crimes. Help protect the sky over Ukraine:

The new US National Security Strategy, in its predictable and characteristic ugliness, is a good occasion for Europe to finally let go of the time-consuming transatlantic crisis management efforts and start focusing on a proper and proactive own strategy instead.

I've found this (below) both reassuring and highlighting of the need for constant vigilance. There is no perfect end state. See if you can see where the 'thousand year reich' occurs (also, that Roman Empire lasted quite a while).

Once every 20 years or so, the director-general of the BBC is forced to resign for being insufficiently rightwing. Alastair Milne in 1987. Greg Dyke in 2004. Tim Davie in 2025. The great irony is that the BBC was in all cases profoundly biased towards established power. But just not biased enough …

Let's stop pretending that the billionaire media, endlessly attacking the BBC, has the slightest interest in balance, impartiality and accuracy. They won't be happy until the BBC is more rightwing than Vlad the Impaler. And then it still won't be enough.

The left can be antisemitic, and that's not new. But basic commitment to equality and solidarity is a powerful check against this. The right, on the other hand, has no such check. That's why right wing antisemitism always poses a much bigger danger, regardless if they like Israel or not.
We're in uncharted territory. The Jewish Right's strategy of allying with Christian nationalism has completely backfired, as the Jewish Left said it would. They're marginalized & flailing. MAGA populism & national-conservatism is barrelling towards hard-edged, conspiratorial anti-Zionism

this is the problem with letting men like this get away with saying shit on tv instead of real life. i dare this man to say this shit out loud in any bar on the north shore
