“Helping” without permission can be inappropriate, not always safe, and indirectly sends a message that you know another person’s needs better than they do.

This can be avoided by ASKING a disabled person whether they would like help rather than assuming.

Telehealth saves time traveling to and from appointments – and that means less disruption to work and other daily activities. Those without access to transportation and those who live far from their healthcare providers rely on telehealth to see their clinicians.

People need to stop using masks as a political football. The reality is that climate change and pandemics are here to stay and increasing in threat. We need to help people protect themselves and their communities by raising awareness about best practices and distributing high quality masks for free.
