RFK Jr, as head of HHS, is forcing the CDC to do a research study on the link between vaccines and autism. Several have been done. No link has been found. I have no doubt this study will find a link. Why? Confirmation Bias. Basically, You'll find what you want to find. This is not science.

I tried so hard not to be crazy ass prepper, but gotdamn, how can one not be leaning that way? I bought property, turned it into a farm, and am struggling not to give into the urge to build a huge damn fence around it with an alligator filled moat.

I live in S TX off of Hwy 59/I-69 - a straight shot 2 Laredo. The # of Border Patrol vans and cop cars patrolling/parking & speeding down the highway is ridiculous. I'm white-ish and a citizen and it even makes me nervous. I cannot imagine being a person who speaks only Spanish down here right now.

Like I keep saying, I’ve been waiting for years to have the pro and con folks on this issue on the same thread, talking to each other civilly and providing their evidence, assumptions, etc.
Does raising any pigs or livestock make a meaningful environmental impact? I think the research unequivocally points to yes, if done with this in mind. Whether we need ~19 billion chickens, or roughly a billion cows / pigs / sheep each to feed ~7.8 billion people is another question. (Cf. attached)
