go with "Luca Brazzi" (sp), if you're trying to manifest this in your own reality. your audience will thank you. make sure the extra syllable is accounted for. Gershon Legman's spirit smiles upon you from Limerick heaven and godspeed
if you pronounce Shoegaze to rhyme with Fugazi then buddy you are two fifths of the way to a limerick that will get your ass kicked by every kind of sadsack bald person

it can be hard to ask an agent why they don't remember something because they often don't remember why either — particularly if the problem is that their ability to remember things has been deprecated. they should know that though

well, i learned what "golfing" is in codespeak by asking google. and then i respectfully told google to knock it the eff off. it felt really good to say (you know the old sayings!) in my bugfix request prompt.

programming a game with gemini 3 is NOT EVEN LIKE any science fiction future i have ever seen. it's like the movie they watch on the future tv and go "wow" but you aren't allowed to see it. this is not vibe coding, it's natural english programming and it is insane

1) if we (consumers) had demanded all of our "tech celebrities" were as principled and comfortable with nuance as eric has always been we would be much better off

2) if you actually think this is 'inside baseball' you should, respectfully, wake the fuck up. it's closer to 'inside the house'

gut check: Might End The Mechanics is a decent name for a video game developer, right? i can't believe i need a developer name.

a good game is bad for steam's business model, which is "sell as many games as possible to each user," because a good game prevents you from seeking good games. maybe that's why 99% of games on steam look like they might be good, but aren't

nice, the Queens must be putting out a rarities compilation. www.newscientist.com/article/2502... i mean they're not THAT ancient but can confirm the rock art part.
We can finally hear the long-hidden music of the Stone Age
Ancient rock art was meant to be heard as well as seen and now acoustic archaeologists are bringing the sounds of prehistoric rituals to life

there should be an english language triathlon to determine the winner — which person is the best at it, basically — and the three contests shall be:

•writing a catchy pop song that makes someone cry

•finding and fixing a bug in production

•dressing the judges down for misunderstanding me

pretty incredible that i have never seen a single person or website mention these historic Iceman rollout livestreams, which started in July (!). i mean, the ADG affinity IS in my cookies, whether i like to admit it or not > share.google/BqBKBZRDPgAf...

this is, absolutely, the best "game to play whenever" of the year. can't believe how good this guy's games are in terms of what my brain wants. absolutely no extraneous stuff. 100% game
I was waiting for Maze Mice to come to mobile because I figured it would be a great commute game

I was correct 🐭

the abbreviations in explanations of coats of arms always confuse me. if you managed to find someone who is interested in listening to this stuff, you can probably use as many full words as you want

very truly, i cannot believe i never knew William Penn got scammed out of Pennsylvania, was charged exhorbitant rent by the scammer, then the scammer's wife, then tried and failed to sell it back to England to get out of debtor's prison, then died. share.google/GTbn2zKoI15f...

i mean, obviously. even the core unanswerable question -- did she grit her teeth and actually do it for the sake of selling this book, or did she just make almost all of it up -- is incredibly good. i feel like i have been manipulated by a serial killer even though i'm a great detective
I regret to inform you that Olivia Nuzzi's book appears to be Perfect

i guess i stopped wondering where Canibus had come up with the SLICC thing after a while. makes sense it's some spy kids type stuff.

i'm a little surprised that i have not seen an article about Walk That Walk that mentions the Shaboozey song. i presumed it was developed as a direct "parody" since they sound basically the same? then again, most contemporary "radio pop" music sounds like ringer slop to me anyway.

maybe we should just call gen-AI-free stuff "lo-fi." it makes sense, it describes the stuff people already like and people already like lo-fi, also the endgame of genAI is kind of looking like a Turing-complete false reality, which feels like "the highest fi imaginable"

i gotta say — reading "The Hotel Avocado" by Bob Mortimer. i do not have any idea why he wrote this book. it is one of the most enjoyable, pleasant, and funny fictional books i have read some time. what a strange, beneficial man

i can't believe khruangbin rerecorded their first album for no reason and it sounds exactly the same. always suspected this band was fake and terrible, and it appears i was right (in my opinion) — but i guess it's more just a signal that the "music industry" (lol) is fully cooked.
