Tangential, but I find it absolutely maddening how many countries just let certain countries violate their sovereignty with seemingly no pushback. Turkey to US, India to Canada, China to Belgium, and now Israel to Sweden.
Greta was stripped and had soldiers film themselves with her while Israel's far-right minister Ben-Gvir screamed at her. Absolutely degrading sexual abuse and the Swedish foreign minister's reaction is essentially "she asked for it".
Aftonbladet's interview with Greta Thunberg is now available in English - it raises many serious questions, not least about the Swedish govt. effectively abandoning its citizens to torture because it doesn't agree with their politics. A thundering disgrace.

I was actually talking to a friend about New York pizza. She insisted that the reason that it’s so good is because NYC’s water tastes good. I think culinarians need to research how water composition affects flavor. Almost every dish uses it.

Ok, hear me out. I have an idea of a good compromise here.
It is not clear that Mr. Trump’s image can be featured on a coin. An 1866 law enshrined a tradition that only deceased people could appear on U.S. currency to avoid the appearance that America was a monarchy. Trump admin is planning to do it anyway.

I noticed this when right-wing parents were freaking about about “secret school curriculums” instead of, you know, getting involved in their children’s lives.
This is proof that conservative parents don't spend actual time with their kids (well, we know Graham doesn't). If they did, they'd know that there have been queer characters on Netflix (and Disney, Nickelodeon etc.) for decades. Like, they're only just discovering Dead End Paranormal Park.

Also, the reason the US didn’t have those standards beforehand is because we had a draft. So unless he wants to bring back the draft, which…yeah…just try it.
Something our glorious Secretary of War does not seem to have considered is that the reason military PT and grooming standards, plus policies for EEO and abuse reporting, are the way they are is because they're necessary for recruitment and retention

My cousin recommended this to me, and by god, did it kick ass. It doesn't do anything exceptionally revolutionary, but it's extremely clever in its mechanics and setpieces.
