Remember when Biden dropped the COVID isolation guidelines down to just 5 days, not because of any actual medical science, but because the Delta CEO asked him to?
Our lives have always been meaningless to establishment Dems compared to the profits of the donor class.

It just makes it look like they said, oh, shit, I had to scrap my weekend at the lake house because my flight was canceled. Or worse, the airlines called and I sold out my constituents at the order of the Delta CEO. I’m no Senate whisperer but when people look at the math it isn’t great.

So: our dumbass citizenry. Will they blame the skyrocketing cost of health insurance on Republicans since they are in power? Or will the morons be all “it’s Obamacare!” and the GOP gets the cover to finally repeal the ACA?

I’m concerned. If there’s no Funko, where will people get Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise?
Funko admits “substantial doubt” it can continue as a going concern amid crashing sales and mounting debt.
The Pop! maker warns of potential loan defaults without fresh funding or a buyout, after a 14% sales drop and $250M in obligations.

I was assured by our centrist betters that part of the reason we can’t have single payer nor a public option in this country is that it would make it easy for Republicans to ban abortion nationally.
"Hyde language" would be a ban on anything related to abortion. So, any Senate Democrat that caves is agreeing to vote to implement a nationwide abortion ban in exchange for healthcare subsidies.
Democrats are likely to get a vote on an extension later. But they've already gotten similar votes. Republicans already vowing to block an extension without major changes to the ACA, like adding Hyde language.

Wouldn't setting up a meaningless ACA vote give a lot of more-moderate GOP senators an opportunity for a show vote?

I am once again saying that we saw what wall to wall, panic coverage of a crisis looked like after the Biden debate and there’s no reason Trump isn’t getting that kind of coverage except for class solidarity.
So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

I’m not bailing out the only people in the world who can actually afford to lose $13 billion. Go fuck yourselves.
“OpenAI is getting ready to run hat in hand to the taxpayer for subsidies.” After losing more than $13 billion this year, OpenAI officials are angling for a bailout. From @ryanlcooper.com:

we can chalk it up to youth and inexperience but the biggest mistake the mamdani campaign made was winning by 8.8% and not 1.5%, which is the margin needed for the media to say it’s a total mandate
