Good morning! I don't know if you can see that solitary person standing on the farthest point of land... I bet they had a good view! #sunrise #yyj #photography

Tomorrow is the final day of Planet Earth Poetry's $30 for 30 fundraiser. It's been wildly successful but we're not quite at our goal yet! Help us get there?

My apologies, Charles Darwin. I wasn’t familiar with your Hater Game
Found an additional graphic that gets even more of these quotes together.

I've kept "I hate myself, I hate clover, and I hate bees" pinned above my desk since I first started studying evolutionary biology as an undergraduate. So relatable to get extremely frustrated with your study system.

Brief sunrise -- ended within minutes as the sun passed behind the cloud cover, but glorious while it lasted.

Can we pause to appreciate the poetics of "love stones, true and fiction'd"?! Way better than what I actually wrote ("love stories, true and fictional") -- this is by far my favourite miscommunication in a reasonably long career of trying and often failing to communicate with other humans.

At first I didn't realize this was the sun. I thought it was sunrise reflecting off a ship on the horizon or something - the part of the sky where sunrise actually happens is moving quickly at this time of year and taking me by surprise. Gloriously. #sunrise #photography #ocean

We must have been impacted by a rolling strike or something because we got no mail for a few weeks and then this week I received not one but TWO fine publications with my poetry between the covers. 🥳 That feeling, when I find my name in the table of contents, never gets old!

refuse to hustle, to be hurried, to be rushed, to decide, coerced, to be persuaded against your gut feelings—will be snail, morning slug on window, slow spider, dream sloth covered in moss, pregnant and uncomfortable pause, delay, the biggest and slowest breath in and out. it can all wait, darling.

This week's Great British Bake Off #technicalbake - raspberry souffles! My first time making souffles. I shouldn't have put the tuile cookies on top - it caused the souffles to start sinking immediately! Otherwise, I'd call this a fairly successful bake. #baking #gbbo
