Action speaks louder than words. Whilst conservatives turn themselves inside out on words. #Labor are getting on with spruiking the words and doing the opposite. More gas exports and not even a royalty.
Like ‘housing affordability’ ‘net zero’ has become one of those meaningless political sayings

Labors support for net zero hasn’t stopped them supporting new coal or gas or from spending billions on fossil fuel subsidies

Michelle Arrow: Whitlam’s expansive national vision – democratic, fair and self-reliant – helped define the contours of contemporary Australia. His agenda for reform produced tangible improvements to the lives of millions of Australians.

Extraordinary and occasionally inept: before The Dismissal, the Whitlam government changed Australia forever
With a bold reform agenda and occasional administrative chaos, Whitlam’s three-year government had, and continues to have, a profound effect on Australian life.

Greta Thunberg's story is entirely consistent with the four Australians reported by @deepcutnews.bsky.social.

If the IDF inflicts such deliberate cruelty and degradation on briefly detained foreign nationals, no wonder we are getting such horrifying accounts from recently released Palestinians.
Greta Thunberg: “Israeli soldiers hit, kicked, starved, and tortured me”

• They placed a flag next to me, and anytime the flag touched me, they kicked me
• Whenever I raised my head to look at Ben-Gvir, I was kicked
• She was filmed while stripped naked
