What if I gave you $100,000?

What if I gave you $100,000 a day for a year?

What if I gave you $100,000 a day for 20 years?

You would still not have 1 billion dollars.

I happened upon this site and as I was looking through the photos, I realized that much of what I see ICE, ATF, FBI, state and local PD's doing to people is no different.

We are living history and white folks like me... we know what we have to do.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

Powerful testimony from MAGA Granny Pamela Hemphill.

She rejected Donald Trump’s pardon for what she did on January 6.

And accepted responsibility for believing the lies that were told about the election.

It still has not been put up.

If you're writing 1800 words about how we failed to account for January 6 and DON'T mention SCOTUS (particularly if you're comparing with Brazil) or impeachment, you're simply doing propaganda for the GOP.

Bennie Thompson marked the Jan. 6 anniversary by playing a blistering montage exposing those who carried out the violent Capitol attack incited by Donald Trump. Five years later, the footage still hits hard and leaves nowhere to hide.

Republicans spent much of Jack Smith's deposition asking him about subpoenas targeted toll records. They asked no question about subpoenas targeting Trump's fraudulent grift.

This weekend was tough. Venezuela threw us all for a loop, which was by design. Trump chose the very end of the Congressional vacation, which also happened to be the deadline the DoJ had to tell Congress what was redacted from the Epstein files.

Ordered a burrito for delivery. It was taking a long time, I dozed off in a suboptimal position. The bell rang. I sprang out of bed to get the door.

My foot had fallen asleep. Both of them. I could not support my own body. I collapsed to the floor, sprained both ankles.

Crawled to the door.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

I spent much of the last two years in a perpetual state of anxiety and depression, often posting about a persistent desire to hide in bed. After moving back to Toronto, it turns out a lot of those feelings were due to 1) my job and 2) the stress of being an Asian woman on a US work visa.
