Good. And if they're just worried, that means they're STILL not doing anything. 😎

PMC COVlD Report, Week of Feb 16, 2026 (U.S.)

14 states are still experiencing High/Very High COVlD levels amid a lingering 12th wave.

Minnesota may be at an all-time high.

Cuz otherwise voters are ok with what Congress is letting Trump do? They support marauding stormtroopers? And, who needs healthcare anyway!

I know small, once-vibrant Texas newspapers that are now hanging on thanks to high school sports coverage.

#journalism
People, it turns out, like to read about their community, about their local events, about their old schools, and about their kids and grandkids in their schools.

Why this is something that has to be relearned every few years is something of a mystery.
The Minnesota @startribune.com generated revenue by feeding readers’ appetites for high school sports coverage. Read our case study about the creation of Strib Varsity to learn why this news product was so successful.

The state media are protecting him from himself by suppressing such stories

If it wasn't reflected on my report card or via a phone call from the principal, my parents wouldn't have cared. 🤣

My tariff case prediction:
1. SCOTUS rules all cases like this must go to the Court of International Trade (not District Courts);
2. Invoke the avoidance cannon to side-step the epic Article I & II clash;
3. Use the Major Questions Doctrine say no tariffs under IEEPA.
4. Refunds that take years.⚖️

I'm reminded of the newspaper publisher that trashed decades of pre-digital 35mm Tri-X negatives rather than build space for the library in its new building. I trust the source, true story.
