Throw the bums out.
Danielle Smith's MAGA machine is being rocked by the grassroots in Alberta who are done with their gaslighting and MAGA extremism.
The UCP brought in the recall petitions and now they are panicking that it is being used against them.
Keep it up Alberta resisters.

How stupid are these people? Using the NWC essentially takes parental responsibilities out of the equation & places the health & safety of these children directly in the hands of the Gov't anyone thinking Smith will stop there is either dense or deep in denial.

Today, Alberta introduced Bill 9 and invoked the notwithstanding clause to shield three anti-trans laws from constitutional challenge. These laws deny gender-affirming care to youth, erase 2SLGBTQI identities from schools, and ban trans girls and women from sports.

“This first use of the Charter’s notwithstanding clause in an act of the Alberta legislature is a stain upon your record & undercuts the credibility of the many calls you have made for all levels of government to respect the rights of citizens.”

The line has been drawn.

If Premier Smith invokes the notwithstanding clause, expect an unprecedented provincial labour strike that will shut down the entire province.

Democratic rights must be protected at all costs.

Unbelievable. Chills.

Tens of thousands of teachers converging downtown just outside where Danielle Smith is addressing an audience.

I’ve never seen anything like this.

Time to listen up, Premier.

Time for a fair deal.

We stand with teachers.

Hypothetically, if I watched last night's SNL and liked that they mocked Trump and Hegseth will ICE abduct me from Canada, force me to go to the USA, and then deport me from there to El Salvador?

Just hypothetically, of course.

Speaking w/ stakeholders re climate action, they're disappointed about move to weaken the best thing that happened to climate policy in Alberta. TIER has benefited businesses and Alberta economy + established us as leaders in working collaboratively w/ industry to meaningfully address emissions.
The premier & her enviro minister will announce a plan to weaken AB’s Technology Innovation & Emission Reduction (TIER); industrial carbon pricing.

TIER is smart investment & climate policy. It has brought billions of dollars & created jobs.

”It’s puzzling why Carney keeps doing things that alienate his own supporters ... the reason Carney is sitting in the PMO is because progressive swing voters made a strategic choice to lend him their votes — they didn’t lend their vote to appease Trump, impose austerity or roll back workers’ rights“
We knew he was a blue Liberal. But Mark Carney is alienating progressive voters
The new PM's defiant tone doesn't always appear to match his actions.

Will you be honest with your constituents and say that you stand with fascism and its leaders around the world?

Because your actions already tell the story.
