My least favorite personality trait in the whole wide world is being unable to be happy for a friend who enjoys something you dislike. Like if you can't shut up for five seconds when your friend is talking about a thing they like. Why is your misery more important than your friend's happiness.

I have finished Dimitri's route in Fire Emblem Three Houses and its literally this like the first half has all these mysteries about a weird cult and the protagonist having a special destiny and it just all kind of gets dropped to focus on Dimi trying to liberate his country.
While it would probably be very frustrating to actually experience it would be funny to have a mystery game with loads of hints and foreshadowing that you can tell you're supposed to speculate madly on and then it just. Never answers them. The heroes beat the BBEG none the wiser as to what that +

My current Fire Emblem Three Houses obsession has got me thinking of anti-war narratives in genre fiction and how that often translates/mirrors how ppl irl (well, on twt/tumblr/reddit) see contemporary conflicts and i think I'll make a thread about it but it'll be a hefty one
