I read stuff like this and I just keep saying, "It's a chat bot." What is there to demonstrate? Does the Gen Z'er have to open the LLM app on their phone and type to it? Do they have to introduce the provost to their LLM girlfriend?

It's hard to overstate how impossible this demand is from Purdue's administration to implement these AI requirements by next fall. We are nowhere close to understanding what AI proficiency means or what it looks like in education.

Well the SNAP is a subsidy for companies that didn't want to pay people enough to eat. The SNAP itself was a form of wealth extraction. So are the ACA subsidies.
We should just pay people enough to eat and have universal Healthcare.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
