In working with Gemini on my prep for The Traveller Adventure it came up with the following description of a Vargr ship: "The ship smells faintly of ozone and wet fur." Perfect.

This reminded me of my Grandfather's cockney alphabet (and yes he was born within the sound of Bow Bells). There is a Wikipedia version but the one I remember him telling me was slightly different: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockney...

Last night I took a leaf out of @5g4d.bsky.social 's book and had NPCs named Bob, Robert, Bobby and Robert Junior.

Last night's Traveller session saw the crew's cat, Marble Barrington, first trip over a police trooper searching the ship and then shred his uniform to the great amusement of his squad mates. #traveller #ttrpg

I’m petrified about today’s science news. Genetically modifying crabs to have cheetah genes? This could go sideways fast.

More of this please US Christians. Instead of Trump idolatry, biblical opposition to what is going on. I'm not talking about liberal theology, I'm talking about orthodox theology that condemns what is going on.
Warnock: If I'm honest, there are days when I have to ask people of my faith tradition as a Christian, are we reading the same book?

The book I know says I was hungry and you fed me. I was sick, I was in prison and you visited me, I was a stranger and you welcomed me….

Visio is showing its age. It doesn't integrate with Office365 well and doesn't interoperate with other graphics tools. I'd like to move to Inkscape completely but the text wrapping into paths in Inkscape is way more complex than it needs to be. Don't even get me started on PowerPoint.

I just saw Entra ID autocorrected to Entrail ID. Is that when you determine who someone is by divination of the entrails of game you have killed? I'm sure there is a TTRPG gag in there somewhere.
