Stamp(s) of the day for me today are from the Isle of Man issued in 1995 featuring Thomas the Tank Engine. A really nice set of stamps that you should be able to find for around £3-5. #stampoftheday #stampcollecting #philately #stamps

Proud to join ~500 other MN docs in signing on to this @nejm.org piece.

Proud of my colleagues. Proud of Ben Trappey for signing his name to it and taking the inevitable heat from some quarters.

It's incredible to have a #WWII Imperial Japanese Army veteran in the US considering there are only 1,000 remaining in Japan.

After Japan's surrender at the end of the war, Mino was captured and sent to a Siberian prison camp in Russia. In 1951, Mino returned to find his mother in the US.

One of the best museums in the world! The National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City (1964) is custodian of Mexico's ethnic past and provides a profound understanding of its ethnographic present. It has material evidence of the great Mesoamerican civilizations, showing Mexico's ethnic diversity.

"I too know the horrors of war"

The year was 2019, and the campaign was End the Forever War.

I was part of a veteran group meeting with members asking them to sign a pledge to responsibly end GWOT.
