For further context twitter added a button that allows users to generate ai images using existing art posts from artists. It removes glaze and it basically reskins the artwork by using the existing work as a base. Twitter is no longer a safe space for art

This is part of why the typical sneering at ‘auteurism’ in games discourse grates on me. Rather than acknowledging the creative efforts of people, you end up assigning authorship to ‘the team,’ which ultimately becomes ‘the company,’ which ultimately is just the corporate entity who holds ‘the IP.’
an awful part of our industry is that we are quick to say stuff like ‘auteurs are garbage, the team actually made it’ but when specific individual workers supply fantastic craft execution in impossible circumstances execs are v quick to erase that by diluting their credit/selling it as IP
