Yesterday, I held a music festival in my district to register voters and speak directly to young people who don’t usually attend political events. 4,500 tickets. Music + advocacy go hand in hand. Madsoul Festival 2025 was a success.

Trump isn't just any asshole. He's a clearly cognitively declining, sundowning, misogynist, angry, bitter asshole. This unhinged woman hater has no business living in our White House. Also, what a repugnant lack of group solidarity by these reporters; particularly the men.

SCOOP — A former staffer for Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ), Natalie Green, 26, was charged today for falsely reporting she was attacked by 3 men who wrote "TRUMP WHORE" on her stomach bc of her job. It was staged by her + a friend.

Van Drew isn't named in the complaint but I've confirmed w/ his office.

Cannot believe it’s 10 years after 2015, Jeffrey Epstein was arrested (twice?), let off the hook by a Trump I cabinet secretary, died in jail, Merrick Garland had access to all these docs and emails and… IT’S TAKEN TEN YEARS TO COME OUT.

We have a crisis of elite accountability.
I just don’t see how we can pretend even for a moment that anything involving our federal government is remotely normal when the president is covering up his involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. Like, what are we doing here

There's no problem Vance won't blame on immigrants, even if he has to invent the problem himself.

A few weeks ago he was insisting immigrants lived in cramped squalor and their (white) neighbors had a right to be upset about that.

Now they're so rich they're snatching up all the good houses? OK.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

As kids, we were told the American dream was to be rich and famous. A superstar. A millionaire.

What if I want a different dream, though. One where we have vibrant communities full of joy and life and love. Where we know our neighbors and help each other out.

What would you dream of?

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.
