Last week I took myself out for breakfast in Fredericksburg via our club's Cessna 182. She's a wonderful plane: comfy, fast, and a joy to fly.

"Traditional health insurance" pre-ACA didn't cover pre-ex, had annual/lifetime caps, didn't cover important things like having a baby, led to many declaring bankruptcy when they got sick. Even then, ~50M had no insurance at all because they still couldn't afford it. They clogged ERs to get care.

Almost like economists have been saying that you need a functional state with limited number of chaotic events to have a functioning business economy, and that the tumult doesn't make the tax breaks worth it.

Fun thing: if you hate the Trump tariffs, you're going to hate climate change even more.
YELLEN: “.. businesses feel paralyzed by the uncertainty about policies that represent the strong but really personal whims of a single individual.”

That's not all: ACA (Obamacare) subsidies are actually an advance payment of a tax credit. See form 8962, Premium Tax Credit.

The IRS is a tax agency we have to interact with, and also a key means that a lot of safety net programs (EITC, CTC) are delivered.
Since Trump took over, the IRS has
*lost 3/4ths of agency leadership
*one quarter of employees
*is now on its 8th leader
New leader has no experience, also leading SSA

I wish. The nightmare will not end for 1165 more days.

Duffy is so full of shit. Canceling a few flights does not help the ATC workload who still must show up for work to keep the airspace open. No evidence has been shared. 100% politics.

As a reminder, Duffy has no background in aviation, safety, transportation, or in any executive function.

Every single tariff Trump fiats on entire countries* is unconstitutional and, surprisingly, was also predicted in the Epstein files.

*tariffs on specific goods for legitimate national defense reasons are likely legal, but still should be revoked by Congress.

The use of "terrorist" rhetoric to refer to citizens, elected officials, and political enemies is extremely dangerous and anti-democratic, and should be immediately disqualifying.

ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"

Broadcasters can easily take the FCC to court and win under 1A. But when you have "business" before the king, like a merger that needs approval from the FTC, you bend the knee. This is crony capitalism, and it is disgusting.
