A leader would not have lost eight colleagues tonight. This happened because you let it happen or because you’ve totally lost control of the caucus in one of the most important moments since you’ve been Democratic leader. Either way, it’s on you. You need to step down. We need someone who can lead.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Under Schumer's leadership, eight Democrats (Cortez Masto, Durbin, Fetterman, Hassan, Kaine, King, Rosen, & Shaheen) joined the Republicans in moving forward a bill to reopen the government without ACA subsidies—Dems' stated key aim—or any other real concessions from the status before the shutdown.

As the judicial system continues to create incredibly specific carve-outs for trans people where laws and civil rights and common decency no longer apply, I want you to think very quickly and concisely about what the regime's endgame is here. Yeah, it's that. That thought you don't want to say.

This idea that trans rights and economic concerns can be disentangled and separated are completely wrong too. Cheap housing and healthcare are trans rights. And trans rights will materially benefit everyone by enabling the bodily autonomy and freedom for every human.

Mamdani winning is a serious problem for "centrist" (right wing) Dems who want proof that pivoting away from supporting trans people is essential to Dem victory.

Mamdani has done the opposite--sprint towards trans protections, and he is winning back the young voters that Dems lost last year.

Teen Vogue also no longer has any trans staffers as of today.

dissatisfied by the New York Times coverage of Zohran Mamdani?

great news! I talked to the guy Thursday about his campaign’s success at bringing community together beyond this election, and contextualized how it’s potentially shifted youth engagement with politics by simply listening @teenvogue.com
Zohran Mamdani's Establishment-Fighting Campaign Built Community for Young People
“What Mamdani has done is not only inspire and mobilize young people, but he has exposed the establishment and some of their calcified views of participation and inclusion.”

i hate to be that bitch, but my sources are telling me this early voting data has gotten Zohran's people rightly spooked and y'all better stop assuming this one's in the bag. GOTV

And yet, for too long, we have been told to ask for less than that, and endure hatred and bigotry in the shadows.

Just a year after four dams were removed, a group of fall Chinook have migrated nearly 300 miles into the Upper Klamath Basin.
