Just want to grow my little garden & ferment some foraged wines, sew some comfy clothes & make my cozy ... zines. 🥴 // From Central PA to Seattle by way of 1990s internet. // Kampai! 🍶
I crave these like a Cookie Monster. Omnomnomnomnom ﹠ ⅋ & 🙰 🙱 🙲 🙳 🙴 🙵 🍪
‘Glampersands’, as in, a glorious collection of metal type ampersands recently cast by my pal Pat Reagh. #letterpress

In a just world, Trump calling a reporter "Piggy" is from a Muppet film, and the reporter replies, "It's MISS Piggy, hiiiiiYAH!" and kicks him into the sun.

As possibly the last person in the world to actually own ink canisters for a mimeograph, congrats to me for also being the last person in the world to learn that you Do Not Store Them On Their Sides. 🤦‍♂️

Slept for a million hours and woke up feeling amazing. Do people really just wake up feeling like they want to bounce out of bed like this all the time? That’s fucked up

Doing our semi-annual deep clean of the kitchen, and i remain LIVID about the countertops. WHO decided on this 12"-square tile with grout??? Did they ever try to clean it, even just once?!?!

My apologies, I used to complain about how New York was focused only on themselves and not the rest of the country, but now that the NYT is writing about Seattle I want them to stick to their fucking lane.

The pies, surprising no one, turned out amazing. A++ farmwife. Would marry again.
I am making pie for a community event tomorrow and am very nervous about it. Also disappointed in myself for not doing the crust by hand, but I have limited brain today

I have GOT to find a good spot to be able to dash to when there's a chance of aurora, but we just got back from a trip to Portland and tonight is just not the night no matter how good the Kp-index is.

And don't intersperse them among all the soft pop you're playing. If you're jumping into Christmas this early, COMMIT
If I'm going to have to listen to Christmas music in your store on November 10th at least pay for the proper versions and don't make me suffer through shitty covers.

I finished "Mad Sisters of Esi" this week. So beautiful and layered. Tells a story i'll be sitting with for awhile.

For goodness sakes, there is so much racism infused in places that we don't even recognize anymore (I'd never given this phrasing even a passing thought 🥴)

Distracting myself with news from home while i wait for more votes to be counted in Seattle's mayoral election. But for context, spouse dropped our ballots in the box late Monday afternoon, but the county only received, opened, and verified my ballot today. They haven't even counted it yet. Soooooo

I also liked this story from Lancaster, PA (heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country), about voter turnout keeps going up.

"Voters now feel choosing between a name with a 'D' or an 'R' behind it can have real impacts on how their local community is run."
