I once used Star Wars as an excuse to punish my keyboard, sometimes for others, like http://FANgirlblog.com. I also whistle indoors. #SWREPMATTERS (He/Him)

We’re still a hair under $600 so far, but I KNOW, if we can get the right people to notice, and the right shares…we could crack 1K before the weekend. Let’s send kids to the movies! @jamesgunn.bsky.social @markhamillofficial.bsky.social

The guy they put in the background got almost as many votes as the population of the state in the foreground. 🤔
incredible how white men are given the benefit of the doubt when anything coming from marginalized groups are treated with utmost suspicion and distorted beyond recognition

Aight, so the parents entrusted their kid with a lady they had known for less than 12 or so hours and now the kid is missing and his life threatened.

I started watching Hitchock's The Man Who Knew Too Much, and within the first fifteen minutes, Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day, up and leave their 9 or so year old kid in the hotel all by himself so they can go out to dinner.

I feel like Home Alone would have hit differently in 1957.

@markhamillofficial.bsky.social Jordan's charity is 100% worth the quick click.
Might as well try…hey, @markhamillofficial.bsky.social! Can I get a quick share to help send kids in need to the movies this year?
After an incredible return in 2025, we're hoping to make 2026 our best year of events ever. Our new—annual—fundraiser is live now as we look forward to taking underprivileged kids to see #SuperMarioGalaxyMovie, #TheMandalorianAndGrogu, #Supergirl, and #AvengersDoomsday!

I liked the ones that existed in the alternate universe who end up dead and buried in the backyard, after Rick and Morty take over their place in that dimension.

Oh, wait, different question actually.

It took until today for me to learn it was a backdoor pilot. I haven’t watched it yet and now, welp, let’s get going!
"That guy's not canon." Seth Rogen had my favorite joke on the new Muppet Show special on Disney+. (Confession: I've been playing it every night, just in case the extra streams help turn the backdoor pilot into a new series.)

I’m one of the folks shifting to buying movies in 4K, but as I have done so, I really have started to appreciate how good some blu-ray scans can be, especially with minor upscaling.

The result is my Blu-ray collection increasing at a faster rate than the 4K.

Me, reading Andy Weir book: The way the character effortlessly draws on all this science knowledge is insane.

[a moment later]

Me: Wait, is this how people see me when I used to recall inane Star Wars trivia.

Until my re-read of Prince Caspian with my kiddo, I had completely forgotten it and Two Towers both end with a killer forest and a river that gets unchained.

I understand less than a lick of Spanish, but this was extremely clear to anyone with a pulse and two open eyeballs.
Bad Bunny’s performance began in the plantation, featured broken electric poles, and ended by centering a hemispheric understanding of “América”—among many other things—and some Anglo journalists are like “his performance wasn’t political.”

This is why we need to be telling our stories.
