i mean yeah that makes sense, one’s an open world game (which between wilds and DD2 having issues it kinda seems like RE engine is struggling to keep up w/ larger scale projects) but also, like, the resident evil team made the damn engine in the first place lol

The fact they’re still using PS2 dev kits (tho they’re planning on switching) is wild to me. I imagine the current dev team skewers older but it’s fucking me up imagining they may have people working on hardware that’s older than they are lol
