Empty podiums and rooms for some good talks at the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association conference because many VA clinicians, researchers, and educators were either furloughed or not funded for travel. Thanks legislative branch, you suck (you too executive branch, tbh).

Climate refugees need official designation as such and additional federal and international aid accordingly. We all made this problem and it's going to get worse.

It seems that ICE — or some other masked & armed people in unmarked vehicles stopping & questioning people — have been around Anchorage at Walmart, Fred Meyer, & Home Depot. Are APD cooperating? Has @alaskapublic.org, @alaskabeacon.com, @adn.com asked the Mayor if she’s cooperating w/ ICE to kidnap?

Several patients last week w/ missing family members; the prevalence of this tragedy is staggering. Many women but many men as well. Parents grieving their adult children missing for decades; children grieving their missing aunties or uncles.😞 We should all be outraged
