12. Saint Setting stories haven't really featured villains. They're investigations about some obscure cult in that world. But a villain would be no different from anyone else in intent: express their saint's power. It's just that power might be horrible.
Hey there, #NovemberWorldbuilders! It's GOOD and EVIL week. Today, tell me about the ethics/morals of your VILLAIN. If you don't have one of those, talk about another character, particularly one who might deviate from protagonist's moral philosophy

Watched Demon City Shinjuku (1988)

This is pure A N I M E. I'm trying to articulate what is it about 80s/90s OVAs that grabs me in a way much modern anime doesn't. Animation quality? The stylistic sensibilities of the times? It's hard to define. But it's SO FUCKING COOL, EVERY SINGLE TIME.

11. Candorick and Rudge are the MCs of the Saint Setting stories, agents of a government minister investigating cults. They are, by and large, good guys. But Candorick has overly obsequious tendencies, while Rudge's attitude teeters on faithlessness (actually a problem here).
Greetings, #NovemberWorldbuilders. Tell me about the ethics of your MC or any character who is important in your world's lore. Are they morally good? Morally grey? Do they have a belief contrary to what others around them believe in? Are there any acts they refuse to do?

Watched A Scanner Darkly

Curious how time can distort perception of a film's visual style. In 2006, this movie rotoscoping technique was novel. Today, to me, it looks like a dogshit instagram filter. I hate saying that due to the sheer work put in, but I found it ugly and not in a good way.

Every time I release a new S&S I scream "HACK THE PLANET" as if my life depended on it. S&S is free because I aint jumping through the hoops of Irish bureaucracy, I just want people enjoying my nonsense. In this way, reading S&S is an act of rebellion, so stick it to The Man!!!!!
I kinda hope no one thinks me going "all of shadows & sorcery is free" is a flex

I'd probably charge for it if it didn't mean me having to set up as an entire business or go through constant complex income declaration nonsense, I tried that, it's shit

So S&S is free cuz fuck the system tbh

10. A lot of faiths can be construed either way. The solar cult of the Communion is a necessary but sometimes brutish faith. Outside of the Communion, the blackfire faith is almost universally reviled, but 100% necessary. There's a lot of nasty stuff out there they deal with.
Heya, #NovemberWorldbuilders. The last two days were for characters seen as pure good or evil. Now for the morally grey stuff: are there any historical figures or events that are debatable whether they were good or bad? Who are the controversial people/events in your world's history?

This game's questlines might be some of the worst I have ever seen in my life, the conditions for NPCs straight up dying is esoteric at best and broken at worst. The best part is Miyazaki made them worse in Elden Ring.
The DS3 weapon buff spell only playthrough is going surprisingly smoothly. So far, I've had enough casts, enough blue estus (one flask!), and enough damage to deal with everything. Abyss Watchers were tricky but I don't like them normally, so it's not the build. Carthus Flame Arc btw...my beloved...
