There's an idea IRL that if you want humans to preserve something, make it sacred. Sanctity can have entirely secular meanings. The notion of the untouchable or unalterable is ingrained in us. Drop it, stuff will get lost. In this case, bits of reality.

Why continue perpetuating animals when you can just magic up the crops or juice people up on blessings for sustenance and energy? Priests are dumb, don't support them. Oops, turns out nature is in fact a fragile balance of interconnecting forces and it's now irrevocably busted.

They're both half right. Their world is falling apart because a bunch of important visions have been lost, specifically due to piled on religious taboo oooh we are not worthy kinda shit, and people descending into disregard and negligence. Like, these people don't have 99% of their animals anymore.

This is also my Yoshiaki Kawajiri bias at work: his films never stop to shimmer and sparkle and explode with particle effects, slowing down and speeding up to accentuate actions, they just flow, bursting every so often with one or two strong shots.

His anime is my platonic ideal of the medium.

The texture of hand-drawn animation hits different in a film vs digital way. It isn't clean like computer animated stuff, but it's in the lighting and details.

There's something reserved in the stylishness--these movies are often flashy but not eager to throw as many effects on screen as possible.

Slavish devotion to canon will kill all franchises. Just make a movie with the dude in it, no one cares or needs this to be a chronological series! But of course Amazon will want a massive interconnected universe, that's what this is all about.

But also, ALL of the villains were killed at a gathering. They really wanted to end this run, it's wild.

Whatever Amazon does will be a whole other "continuity", but the original people have no creative input.

Son of a Bond fan here, I am paraphrasing: he was infected with a virus/nanomachines (can't remember) specifically designed to kill him and his family if he ever tried finding them, last film ended with a self sacrifice, they didn't blow him up. Daniel Craig wanted his Bond OVER so he could leave.

No that's objective truth

Skyrim's only worth is as a foundation for modding, and I say that as someone who had 1000+ hours in it on Xbox 360
