Amazon's black friday recommendations are kind of amazing. I bought jigsaw blades from you six months before I bought a new jigsaw from you just last year, do you think I need a THIRD JIGSAW

The entire debate about whether Democrats should moderate or focus on economic vs identity issues is moot if the media is just going to report that they're doing SJW Shit irregardless

Not to defend this lady and her fantasy strategies, but if you conceive of Trump as Hitler or Hitler-aspirant (or dare I say it...a fascist despot), it makes total sense to criticize showing up at the White House and shaking his hand and saying you look forward to working together on affordability

This was the first If Books Could Kill podcast I listened to, and it was phenomenal.

It's not jus a good takedown of one book, but it's a good takedown of this entire genre of "sprawling history of the world" type books.

Think it nails two critical points that plague all punditry.
Episode 46: Sapiens

It's an ambitious goal to write the entire history of humanity in just 400 pages. It's even more ambitious to do it without reading any research.

All my random politically unaware friends are making Trump/Epstein jokes. You know what they haven’t said? “I heard Hakeem Jeffries promise to lower the cost of groceries”
The usual suspects are telling Dems that Epstein won’t win elections, get back to “affordability” and I think my head might explode. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...
Force A Referendum On The Epstein Coverup
It divides Republicans much more than "affordability" or any other economic issue.

The power of Fox News isn’t that they push conservative ideas, it’s that they are willing to set any kind of ideological consideration aside at the drop of a hat to boost Republicans regardless of what they do at any given moment.

I don't think it gets mentioned enough that Bovino is a member of the civil service. He is not a political appointee. Yet he still engages in constant open partisanship while in uniform and with a DHS flag behind him.
Bovino: "Whether they were criminals or individuals that were taking jobs from Americans -- you name it, that's what they were doing. And I'll tell you what's gonna happen. We're gonna go even harder on the streets. If he releases those 650, we're gonna apprehend 1,650 on the streets of Chicago."

Do politics-knowers know how insane this sounds to everyone else? "Democrats shut down the government for 40 days but don't worry, they knew going into it that they weren't gonna get their demands met".

If you're looking for a reason people hate Democrats...
Folks, no party or faction that has triggered a shutdown has ever gotten its demands met in a shutdown. That was always the risk going in. People (like me) were saying you were going to have to deal with eventual disappointment going in.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
