Robert Plant’s hair looks like one of those British jurist’s wigs, longer yes, and gilded, but those waves!

I suggest that we start using the phrase "Mr. Beast and the CEO of Salesforce will be there too." as shorthand to explain how little we want to be at any given terrible event.

One of my grandmothers lived in Chattanooga when I was a kid, just at the base of Missionary Ridge. We’d sometimes visit Lookout Mountain and get educated, sometimes by the US Park Service, sometimes at the Confederama (sigh)

The fade feature between songs that iTunes added a few months back can do some really great stuff.

Fading Prince’s ‘Shockadelica’ into Stevie Wonders’ ‘I Wish’ is one of those transitory but utterly brilliant and delightful moments I live for.

Thinking about the Ceaușescus
We know this is a bid for authoritarian governance and at this point it is clear it is failing

We know in other countries, such failures generally end with "and then he fled to Russia" or "and then he went to trial" or "and then he and his entire family were murdered."

Why would we be different?
