I wasn’t planning on visiting the US for a few years anyway:
I have annexed
The country
Whose resources
I wanted

And which you
Were probably
Hoping
I could identify a giraffe

It was the best clock
Anybody drew
I like McDonald's
Hey look, a bird

When two artists paint the same view: Rue de la Chausée à Argenteuil, painted on the same day in 1872 by Claude Monet & Alfred Sisley, friends and founding figures of French Impressionism, who set up their easels side by side en plein air.

Lots of parallels between #Ashes defeat and what Labour voters in 2024 are feeling about the govt right now.. "its the hope that kills you". "It was supposed to be different this time". you wait 15 years for a win in Australia/regain power and then it all falls to pieces super quickly

The good news now that the Ashes has moved on to Adelaide is that play finishes at about 7.30 in the morning so after the initial shock of waking up to hear how badly England have played you can get on with your day instead of listening to a few hours of play.
