On holiday on Ile de Ré (in the Bay of Biscay about halfway down France) and saw this sign in the local village saying that there are Commonwealth War Graves in the local cemetery. Odd, I thought, given that there was no active fighting anywhere near here in WW1 or WW2. So a quick thread...
