Convince me, Walters, that a state vehicle continuously returning to your home is not driven by you.
An Oklahoma State Department of Education vehicle made trips to Texas, visited country clubs and regularly returned to former state Superintendent Ryan Walters' home, but current and former agency officials refused to discuss who was driving.
Questions remain over who drove a taxpayer-funded vehicle issued to an aide of Ryan Walters • Oklahoma Voice
Current and former Education Department officials have refused to explain who drove an agency vehicle to Texas, country clubs and stores.

Apparently the GOP's "strategy" for cutting healthcare "costs" is having tens of millions of Americans paying zero for insurance because they dropped their policies & are resigned to living with their illnesses until those finally kill them.

Then Reps will trumpet "Healthcare costs are down!"

Somebody explain this to me. With health insurance premiums set to explode, why are their stock prices dropping?

Everyone get a load of this: Washington Post now auto-rejects post-article comments about Trump containing the words "narcissistic" or "sociopathic" -- even though those words are perfect descriptors of his personality.

Do you see where all this is headed? No criticizing Dear Leader...

Trump mulls buying off voters with a "$2000 tariff check."

Don't make me laugh. 1st of all, the national debt is so gigantic, it'd be foolish to just give away money. 2nd, & more important, buying votes would be corruption of an unparalleled magnitude in American history thehill.com/homenews/adm...

We now have a president who, not only is busy enriching himself & family with numerous schemes, but pardons criminal allies while turning the "DOJ" against enemies.

These are the kinds of actions a Mafia Don would do.

Don Trump... How wildly appropriate.

Does everybody see the strategy behind the "deal" that hooked in those 8 Dem Senators?

SNAP is funded. MAGAs will be pleased.

ACA isn't. Next move: Reps will declare that ACA is unworkable, & will offer their own bogus "plan" involving cancelling ACA--after the midterms.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

BREAKING:

Trump has just issued pardons to dozens of conservatives who tried to overturn the 2020 election results, including: Mark Meadows, Kenneth Chesebro, Jeffrey Clark, Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, John Eastman, Boris Epshteyn, and more — per pardon attorney Ed Martin.

I'm worried that Bluesky's being flooded by bots. And, when the time is right, tens of thousands of those bots will be activated, posting whatever crap their creators were paid by the GOP to unleash. 90% of my unsolicited Followers fit the bot profile (I have it Pinned to my Profile).
Regular reminder that Axios stories saying Dems are about to cave are likely sourced from GOP staffers trying to make it happen.
Doesn't mean it definitely won't happen. But it's like those NYT stories that Harvard is considering caving (they haven't). The anonymous source was trying to manifest it.

What on earth???
What’s is America’s new immigration policy?

#NoFatties
The Trump administration has ordered visa officers to deny immigrants who are obese or have certain health issues, in yet another instance of the president’s strange obsession with physical traits. trib.al/048SICA

New proposed $1 coin w Trump on both sides would certainly perfectly capture his personal Prime Directive of "Heads I win, tails you lose!" wouldn't it.

One fat chapter of The Dictator's Playbook states that control of information is vital. This below is a blatant attempt to avoid gathering info that could be used to prosecute top leaders of the Trump Admonsteration.
DHS disabled the software that archived officials’ text messages.

They are now screenshotting their messages and uploading them to a shared drive.

They are trying to wipe out all evidence against them and ensure there is no paper trail.

Wonder why?

American healthcare premiums & copays now exceed the entire annual salaries of some of us. This is absurd & obscene.

Can some of you out there provide objective reports analyzing WHY this is so costly? I'm sure millions would be interested in finding out just why, w/o any partisan hype.

Thanks.

(CNN): "...Elizabeth Wick got the email she had been dreading. Her insurer, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Texas, told her that the monthly premiums for her Affordable Care Act policy would soar to $1,380 next year, up from $862."

862x12=10,344. 1380x12=16,560. A person making $10/hr makes ~ $20,000/yr

It's hard to find any good at all in MAGA. But, at least it's ripped the lid off the silent work of billionaires to subvert & corrupt American democracy.

We need to tax the wealthy more heavily & get money the hell out of politics. I know, I know--easier said than done. But those are the targets.

One good way to recognize a bot is to see how many original posts they make (if any, because most posts will be reposts), plus the quality of originals. Typically quality will be poor, or neutral at best -- a picture of themselves (often a glamor shot that looks created by AI), or a flower or food).

One of the unacknowledged advantages of this awful era is that it's revealing for all to see the putrid connections between great wealth and great power.

The intentions of the oligarchs are fully exposed and more blatant than ever.

But remember: We outnumber the oligarchs.
