The Department of Justice is pretending it needed to talk to notorious liar Ghislaine Maxwell to know the truth about Jeffrey Epstein, when it is concealing thousands of documents about him that don’t lie. It’s a sick farce.

If anyone out there still thought DOGE was "volunteering," game's up.

Taxpayers deserve to know how much $$$ the technofeudalists forced on DOL are being paid to steal sensitive data, fire federal workers and dismantle critical public services.

This is huge - and disgusting.
NEW: An unsigned interagency agreement calls for the Dept of Labor to reimburse the US DOGE Service up to **$1.3 million** for work done by four DOGE affiliates over 18 months.

Musk has previously stated that DOGE staffers would cost taxpayers nothing.

The unsigned agreement between the US DOGE Service and the Department of Labor provides significant insight into DOGE's work with federal agencies.

Sounds like a serious due process violation.
UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off.

We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos
My detained client was scheduled for a bond hearing this AM in a MA immigration court. He wasn't brought in, and he and his case have disappeared.

I then received this notice of activity on a nonexistent docket in which his name was changed to "N/A"

It's all happening a lot faster than I expected

If you experience a problem w/ social security, go straight to the office of your congressional reps & senators. They should be ready to help partly because they work for you, but also because the Rs are cooperating w/ the Trump admin to actively damage social security (among other public services).

There's a way to audit a government agency that actually works. What DOGE is doing is... not that.

WIRED talked to actual federal auditors about how government auditing works—and how DOGE is doing the opposite.

Lately I've been feeling bad about some of my personal security lapses, but I'm not "accidentally looping in journalists on foreign policy / military operations" bad.
In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.

Tula and her mom Rose-Tu enjoyed a splash under a warm shower. Asian elephants can drink up to 50 gallons of water per day, and they often swim and play in it too!

The Trump administration on Monday quietly rescinded an order that had blocked a major Dominican sugar producer with political ties to President Trump from shipping sugar to the U.S. because of allegations of forced labor at the company.

Labor groups said working conditions had not changed enough to warrant the removal. The company is partly owned by donors to President Trump.

I think the next administration should work for some kind of free trade agreement between the US, Canada, and Mexico, and get it ratified by all three governments so that we don't let some president come in and impose tariffs just because they feel like it. Has anyone ever thought of that before?

This on top of the data exfiltration ops Musk's staff has been doing.

US national security is now so compromised that it would be a bigger surprise if we ever recover independent strength than if we don't. Thanks Trump voters.
THE US CYBERSECURITY SHIELD HAS BEEN TURNED OFF FOR RUSSIA
Let’s be clear about this, last week the United States on orders from SecDef Hegseth, has ceased monitoring, identifying, tracking, preventing or alerting anyone to Russian cyber attacks. No activity at all is permitted.

We are going to borrow more money to pump it into the crypto market to enrich scammers and leeches who produce nothing of value for humanity?
