On the one hand, it must be an exciting time to be a public intellectual, calling evil by its name. On the other, it seems like the dullest job imaginable since the bad guys are uniformly uninterested in rigor or logic or consistency—just a bunch of shitposters breathlessly repeating cruel slogans.
The reactionary centrist logic is simple: if the left does something bad it’s the left’s fault, and if the right does something bad, it’s also the left’s fault for making them do it. It’s a simple formula and once you see it every one of their arguments is the same

A 6-year-old just lost his mother. A woman was shot in the face in front of her wife.

The swift, lockstep attempt to dehumanize and villainize Renee Nicole Good might be the most depraved thing we've seen yet from these ghouls and their supporters. These people are utterly fucking dead inside.

This woman is an idiot. If you buy what she’s selling, you are a mark and an idiot.

Surprise! Look who's nominated for Best Letterer on the @brokenfrontier.bsky.social Awards 2025?

And I honestly couldn't be in better company: Hassan, Becca, Rob & Rus are truly inspiring artists killing it in every book they letter. What an honor!

I guess what’s confusing me is that whenever the U.S. invades another country for oil, the powers that be always plan it to a T, including a clean exit strategy.

LETTERING TIP FOR WRITERS: If you want me to letter something, include it with the dialog. I almost never read descriptions. Many lettering scripts don't even INCLUDE descriptions.

Instead of "Panel 1: The monster appears and Debbie screams." make sure you're typing "DEBBIE: AUUUUUUUGH!"
