Why show up to work at all then? At minimum, as the opposition party you say "This wouldn't happen if we were in power and if you give us power here's how we'll impose consequences on the president's lawbreaking." Have they outlined that in any real way?
A lot of people are mad at Schumer for saying this. But he's right. Democrats don't control a single branch of government and they can't pass anything. Only Republicans can rein in Trump because they control both chambers of Congress. Democrats have no cards to play here.

A lifetime of paying taxes and it was all spent on wars. Honestly it feels like theft because it should have gone to healthcare, education, infrastructure and the social safety net. It should have gone to improving quality of life for everyone.

Wondering how other people that work for private companies in functions that investigate or report on CSAM exposure are feeling. Hard/weird time to be working in any trust, compliance, fraud, etc. function right now but really thought CSAM would cross the line.

Okay. Since I posted this yesterday, so many people have tried to convince me that we "won" against crypto and it's dead. Because they don't hear about it anymore. I really need y'all to pay attention. Crypto is still huge. Not only is it not dead, it continues to cause massive harm.
DEI is banned. Cryptocurrency is still around and has largely succeeded at perpetuating the largest siphoning of wealth I think I'll ever see in my lifetime. Cops are still killing Black people, and now they get to kidnap everybody else too.
