I don't recall where I found this, but I'd say this looks about right.

Beat Hell is Us. It was in the end not a game of next year contender. I think they should have cooked on it for a little longer. The first half of the game is excellent, but the final act is over in the blink of an eye.

Everything I’ve read so far under Neon Hemlock’s imprint has been stellar:

* The Transitive Properties of Cheese
* No Such Thing As Duty
* The Necessity of Stars

Brain: you like the FFVI airship theme right

me: uh I guess

Brain: we’re gonna play it for the next day and a half

I could finish FF7R2…

…or I could simply play the original again….

Okay my love affair with Hell is Us is waning. Fast travel is good actually and slapping three loading screens between maps is not fun.

Stuff I'd love to see more of in the Plott Hound slush:
-science fiction
-less popular and more obscure species
-subversive, refreshing takes on familiar mythical creatures and cryptids
-xenospecies/critters entirely made up by you!
-non-Western cultures and settings

Started Annihilation the other day and I respect this protagonist a hell of a lot more than the usual scientists run amok.

Unrelated to mim itself, but this is also the first preprint I've prepared in @typst.app rather than LaTeX. It was soooo much nicer. Folks; what are we doing? Why don't our journals accept manuscript sources in Typst!
Ok; mim (github.com/COMBINE-lab/...) preprint submitted! Excited for folks to see it and share thoughts. The key takeaway; mim allows the quick, one-time, building of a small auxiliary index that then allows scaling gzipped FASTQ parsing linearly in # of threads. 1/2

At this point, I'd just recommend all developers to disable comments. There is no reason to believe that this problem will go away any time soon. No one seems to be doing any meaningful work on it. No reason to keep yourself busy with deleting several spam comments a day. It's not worth the hassle.

Hell is Us figuring out how to make souls-like combat work beyond 1 vs 1 duels is one thing

Basing most of the combat experience on 2+ vs 1 is amazing

I love this fucking game
