It’s disheartening to see Teen Vogue dissolved into Vogue and its political team let go. For years, it was one of the few mainstream spaces that made room for honest, radical commentary on justice, inequality & the world we actually live in. I’m grateful it gave me a home for so many of my op-eds

Starvation is always a policy choice. Just like homelessness.
The USDA is the fail safe for SNAP.
They have a contingency fund to ensure it’s covered in the event of a shutdown.
They’re refusing.
Grocery stores stepped up to try and help by offering discounts to any SNAP recipients and the USDA told them they had to stop.

SNAP being cut/paused the first of Native Heritage month is the most American bullshit ever.
ensuring community is fed & taken care, you’re checking on neighbors and treating the most vulnerable like kin is a great way to “celebrate” Native Heritage month.

No horror movie comes close to the horror of the climate crisis. The worst part?
It’s already here.
We are seeing the devastation of our heating world happening in real time.
The people in charge can still change this.

I am committed to compiling a NC research triangle area media list in the next 24 hours but if anyone has one concealed conveniently about their person I would appreciate getting a peek at it. In other words, does anyone have a list of NC research triangle media for a press release?

There's a chance that the kidnappers & murderers of Indigenous females are out in the cities of America continuing their evil ways right now. They've already so-called lost some of the detained/deported victims. Others were allowed to die. A lot more have died than have been reported.🙁
