Yeah, and I painted this. It's called, The Landing Party.

I just found a hard drive full of pictures of my Kaku (maternal grandmother) dating back to her childhood with her own grandmother. Here is one of her in 1992 at the NAJA (Native American Journalists Association)conference in DC in 1992. It makes me so happy that I found this cleaning my office.

One time I made the Monalisa with a jetpack out of modeling chocolate (modeling chocolate is essentially homemade tootsie roll)

Thank you it's a reproduction of our house. I had to cut off the connecting section to fit on the cake board which screwed up all my measurements.
The same house as the gingerbread in this thread only the real version, without the 7 feet or so connecting the two halves together removed.

this is my mantle for a taste of my maximalist style
a black brick fireplace with black mantle in a green room. two red paper lanterns hang from the corners, a garland of paper tabby cats carrying puddings, and 12 xmas stockings:red velvet, blue velvet, red plaid,red with applique snowman, knitted red with bat, mint with applique penguin, red& yellow knit with dragon, grey fur, and red velvet with gold beads. On the mantle are a tiny copper xmas tree, a raven, a whale, three xmas cards, a bees wax candle, a Black Santa and Black Mrs. Santa, a flocked deer, a galileo thermometer, a set of classic pocket classics with acanthus leaf book ends, a golden stag with stars, and sculpture of ptarmigan, a greenfaced witch cookie jar (full of lactaid), silver glittered feathers in a crystal vase full of green metallic ornaments, Black nutcracker dressed in yellow and a cake stand full of seashells. on the wall are two paintings and two photo graphs
