This much is clear: Stephen Miller is in charge. They've shipped off Bovino, they're hanging Noem out to dry, Trump is using slightly conciliatory language...and Miller is still running a blitzkrieg in Minnesota. He, not Trump, is in charge. And he is the one Democrats should fight to remove.

The Obama administration did what the current administration does not. They went after actual criminals, and used the justice system, including DUE PROCESS, to deport them. The current administration just grabs people off the street and makes the disappear.
