When you close your eyes in a dark room, do you see a fine roiling foam of dull purple-green letters, checkerboards, stripes, fibres, zigzags and squiggles? Constantly evolving and dissolving, with no permanent features, though not entirely uniform over space or time?

Do I know any old StarCraft nerds? I remember a long time ago there was a mod or something called, I think, Replay With Audio (RWA). You could record an audio track and sync it with the replay. Unlike a VOD you could scroll around and see what you want while hearing the commentary.

Latest Not Just Bikes episode reminded me of how annoying and disorienting Google Maps can be. Oh yeah the biggest city centre streets with all the shops on them? Dunno mate, never heard of them. Sounds made up.

How I'm imagining these club rules are going to end up...

I really want a Zonecard but daaaaamn how do they justify the prices. You really have to use all of bus, train and subway, and at least two of those every single day your ticket is valid. You have to be playing Jet Lag The Game to make this worth it.

I do want to play Jet Lag The Game though.

Friends, this thing drips. What do I need to fix it? Whereas every other seal down here has a rubber seal that the screw-on part compresses against the end of a mating pipe, this connection has nothing. It has a longer narrower pipe on one side and seems to be slathered with silicone sealant.
A U-bend constructed of white PVC pipe below a kitchen sink. A small line connects in from the side for a washing machine. Highlighted is one of the twisty joints. I don't know what they're called. Bushings, maybe? The same joint disconnected. The left side (towards the sink) has a wide pipe with a thread. The right side (towards the drain) has a narrower pipe covered in messy silicon sealant. The bushing is retracted as far as it goes until it hits the next one along.
