SURVIVED. Pretty decent conversion rate considering the weather, so I dare say… painting your own pottery… is a mild hit??

I feel so bad for the organizers, sooooo many vendors canceled because the weather is trash, but we got some people painting their own pottery 10 minutes in so 🥹🥹🥹 for me

oh boyyyyyy we are in a race against time - loaded the kiln now, at midnight on Friday, with things I need by 7am Sunday, don’t you just love when you leave yourself zero margin of error in pottery, a medium known for never having anything go wrong

Although many people are saying it, I do not believe our current president sucked off former president Bill Clinton on camera. I have not seen sufficient evidence that our current president gave the former president a blowie in a way that was memorialized in a photo. That's not something I believe.

I have the first paint your own pottery event on Sunday which I was already in solid Wingin’ It territory on planning, AND it’s supposed to rain all weekend, so we are backing into the potential for a hilariously miserable weekend for your ol pal shayden

blaaaaaaahhhhhh, what a weight off that my kiln firing went ok, my constitution is too weak for holiday pottery - huge design flaw in the process that the kiln takes like 24 full hours and you can’t look at it the whole time and it’s just happening in there and there’s nothing you can do

I might just survive this week - my kiln adjustments worked… FOR NOW. basically, you use these lil cones that bend at different temps to figure out how hot it is and want the center cone to dip so it’s parallel w the shelf. Left is not hot enough, right is a lil too hot but generally what we want!

a small part of why I stopped reading scripts for networks and studios is that it was literally too much for my brain to have every serious, infuriating world event pitched as a comedy two weeks later. Consider that the topical series you’ve seen are only a sliver of the ones I saved you from, lol
Ryan Murphy is going to try to write and direct this limited series and I just want him to ... not do that.

waiting to see the results of my kiln temp adjustments, but I’m reading about replacing heating elements in case I have to do some light manual labor, and one of the tests to figure out which one is broken is to put paper behind them, turn on the kiln, and see what DOESN’T burn - I’m gonna die, lol
