My tone/style has gotten really specific over time, especially how I write descriptions. I’m comfy enough with it to just use it universally, which makes me happy. People repeatedly call it sparse (i.e. light on adjectives), snappy, and fairly smooth to read, so I think I’m doing an okay job there!

By the end of the ball game when I was like “okay I should go home”, he was in a self induced coma tucked up against my hip and dream-kicking me

I love many things about Fringe, but one of the ones I forgot is that the pilot episode (titled Pilot, naturally) is about a pilot. It’s that fuck-you attention to details that made this show one of the greats
