I'd really love a graphic that combined Amazon layoffs, WaPo gutting, and Melania spending, with all the empty seats.

Not least bc Bezos should be shamed as a failure. Maybe blame his marriage.

If they've decided not to charge Homan, so the investigation is complete, and he's now been dispatched to run the show in Minnesota, shouldn't Dems or public be able to demand release of the sting tape where he takes the $50k in a CAVA bag to determine if he's an appropriate new sheriff in town?

Best as I understand, Pam Bondi did not intervene in the case of a Jan6er, Christopher Moynihan, who threatened Hakeem Jeffries.

She has not intervened in case of Christian Joel Young, who assaulted Maxwell Frost.

But is intervening in the case Trump weighed in on, the Ilhan Omar attack.

I identified myself as a US citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out. Even after I complied, I was taken to a detention center and held for 3 days without charges. No phone call, no lawyer, no medical care

One thing I've learned as a media critic involves scale. The tools of criticism work within certain boundaries like the metaphor in use here: five-alarm fire. Our imaginations can handle that. The PR team will respond. "I'm running my ideas for CNN past the president" is too huge to be criticizable.

The government’s own data and detentions like the ones we reported on in Chicago raise serious doubt about whether the Trump administration’s mission is to target “the worst of the worst” at all. New reporting from @msnbc.com. www.msnbc.com/msnbc/news/t...
Trump says migrants drive violent crime in Illinois. But ICE can’t find many violent criminals.
Masked ICE agents and other federal forces showed up in Chicago to go after gangsters. Instead, they keep catching people who are just living their lives.

Referring to the abuse visited upon over a thousand girls as a “red herring” is nasty work, you asshole.
Welker: They say the house is not in session because you don't want to swear in the newly elected democratic congresswoman who would be a critical vote to releasing the Epstein files.

Johnson: It's totally absurd. This has nothing to do with that. It's another red herring.

Worse, it guarantees you won't fix what is wrong now bc you've made Garland your villain instead of the guy still fucking things up.
Guys, I know you all still cling to conspiracy theories about Merrick Garland bc ... well, you watch too many TV lawyers who knew fuckall about the investigation.

But this is a fact. A trial was scheduled to happen 3 years after Jan6, just like Bolsonaro got.

Who killed it? John Roberts.
