Designed by James Pritchett and built in 1855 the Grade II listed chapel is now in a ruinous state suffering from years of decay and damage.

These lovely 1871 almshouses tucked away in the village of Wilshaw were built for Eleanor Hirst, wife of a wealthy West Yorkshire mill owner, in memory of her daughter Mary.

The almshouses & the mausoleum for Mary at St Mary Church are all Grade II listed.

Action by the Victorian Society and the local community brings about enforcement of repairs to the rare Bramcote Victorian Tennis pavilion in #Scarborough. The Society placed the building on our Top Ten Endangered Buildings List in 2024.
