If writing is so easy why do people argue that they can’t do it without the pablumatic verbiage extruder

And if it’s so difficult then why do people think it’s not labour and writers are not workers

Antidepressants? If you mean my cat hugging her own feet, yes, I'm on antidepressants. 🐈‍⬛❤️🥰

My new Halloween tradition, sorted.
Doing reverse truck or treat this year where I stay home in my normal clothes and everybody takes turns stopping by to give me candy and tell me how nice I look

“If it makes you laugh, who cares if it’s AI?” Well, I care because my laughter and aesthetic pleasure is not how I determine whether a thing is ethical or good for society. I like how the sun bounces off of oil slicks in parking lots, does not mean I want oil spills everywhere.

You son of a gun, I'm in.
Being that there’s three sanctioned candy holidays, I propose we leave Halloween alone (obviously) but we make Valentine’s Day a cheese holiday and then we make Easter a potato holiday and that’s my big idea for the day

Shoutout to libraries for keeping fiction and non-fiction separate, that is not easy to do these days

I HATE when people compare AI to the printing press, it's so disingenuous. The printing press was opposed by the elites because it put power in the hands of everyday people, and popularized a vernacular. AI does the opposite, by allowing elites to bypass artists and laborers.

On this Labor Day, let us remember that it wasn’t the CEOs and billionaires who saved us during COVID-19. It was the janitors, nurses, cleaning crews, grocery and food workers with their hard, often invisible labor.

We built a calculator that doesn't work, but don't worry, it's also a plagiarism machine that will tell you to kill yourself. It runs on the world's oceans and costs 10 trillion dollars.

I will never get over how a handful of tech bros set billions of dollars on fire to build a plagiarism machine that doesn't work and will destroy human society when they could have used a fraction of that money to fund a new golden age of creativity and knowledge.

So much this!
Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Considering the death penalty for the drivers of fancy cars who rev their engines until they sound like mountain lions being strangled. Seriously, YOU’VE WOKEN UP MY CAT! How quickly the mind turns to violence, vandalism and mean poetry…
