my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides

It's not a great movie on the level of 1 or 2, that is true. At the same time there is a foundation that is not bad. Sophia Coppola is not good. But she was also not the first choice of the role and the First Choice dropped out shortly before filming began.
We rewatched the first two Godfathers yesterday. Those are some good movies. We’re gonna watch Part 3, a first time watch for both of us, today.
