Songs from the 1950s are bops but also absolutely savage - It’s my party is actually part of a set, with part 2 ‘Judy’s turn to cry’ seeing Jonny’s ring-wearing side chick from the party getting her comeuppance when *checks notes* our hero TAKES JONNY BACK? (Having made him jealous)

I have watched the You Don’t Own Me scene from First Wives Club to the end every single time I have ever seen it shared. I wonder if they had any idea filming that scene how much it would imprint on people? And just one tiny thread in #dianekeaton ‘s extraordinary legacy.

Making the actual super simple game took about 40 minutes, including drawing the sprites. The infrastructure around it (title screen, character selection, unnecessary end screen animation) took nearly 2 hours. Priorities!

My mum operates on a similar scale ‘I’m not being nasty, I’m just being rude’ with the difference being whether she is being motiveless malignant or making an uncharitable assertion based on material facts.
