The NYC City Council has 51 members and we at NYC Public Library Action Network are recruiting people who are constituents of every member to set up meetings with them to get them on record for our main demand. It's an easy lift and we hope that folks will sign up. More soon on this.

This should make so much sense to anyone who knows how much junior roles in the non profit sector pay.
In Britain, the fast-rising minimum wage is catching up with the bottom rungs of white-collar work. In fact, it appears that a rising number of people who earn annual salaries & don't work in low-paid sectors are now being paid below the legal minimum... www.ft.com/content/5f69...
