i know it’s often done in jest, but i’ll go one further and say that one cannot self-identify as a himbo. that level of self-awareness is definitionally antithetical to the true spirit of the himbo and a diminishment of the same.
i feel like i see a lot of stolen himbo valor online and it pisses me off. you’re not a damn himbo! you’re nothing like the guy i went out with who told me his favorite artist was ‘leonardo the vinci’!
