There’s a group within the democratic party that call themselves moderates but are technically conservatives wanting to preserve the old status quo (no longer exists), in debt to large corporate donors & lobbyists & are part of the problem. That is disheartening. I understand you need to pay non profit CEOs decent wages to attract good talent but this is way too much. It’s ridiculous.
I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.
